Timothy
T. Williams, Jr. is a twenty-nine year retired Senior Detective
Supervisor from the Los Angeles Police Department retiring from the
elite Robbery-Homicide Division. During his tenure with the Los Angeles
Police Department, Mr. Williams completed over twenty-six years of
various detective assignments conducting and supervising including but
not limited to robbery, homicide, domestic violence, child abuse, rape,
sexual assault, juvenile and narcotic investigations.
Mr. Williams also worked patrol, recruitment,
internal affairs and administrative assignments during his tenure with
the Los Angeles Police Department. Mr. Williams also developed the
domestic violence program, policy and procedures for the Department
which resulted in the reorganization of the Department’s detective
function in 1994, resulting in the first detective reorganization in
fifty years. Mr. Williams is a requested speaker on Criminal Justice
and Police Procedure issues. He was also an instructor at Los Angeles
City College in the Administration of Justice Department, where he
taught for over fifteen years. Mr. Williams completed his undergraduate
studies at California State University at Los Angeles, Majoring in
Criminal Justice. He is a graduate of Police Officer Standards and
Training (P.O.S.T.), Supervisory Leadership Institute and a graduate of
the West Point Leadership Program. Mr. Williams has attended and
continues to attend continuing education courses and seminars in
investigative techniques, criminal forensics and legal issues.
In
2003, Mr. Williams opened his private investigation practice conducting
criminal and civil investigations. As a Private Investigator, Mr.
Williams has worked with such prominent attorneys as Thomas A. Mesereau,
Jr., Debra A. Opri, Edi M. O. Faal, Christopher A. Darden, Dale K.
Galipo, Luis A. Carrillo, Roland L. Coleman, Jr., Winston Kevin
McKesson, Carl E. Douglas and Brian T. Dunn. Mr. Williams is a Police
Procedure Expert, Use of Force Expert and Domestic Violence Expert in
both State and Federal courts. He has also appeared as a Police
Procedure commentator on cable television, FOX News and network owned
and operated television stations in Southern California. |
